Trainee Employment Adviser

We are looking for someone who is driven to help those furthest from the labour market into employment
Position
- Part-time position: 18.5 hours per week
- Contact Duration: 12 months with possible extension
- Salary: £24,496 (pro-rata)
- 8% pension contribution
- 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Required skills and experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proactive approach to work and experience working in a pressurised environment
- To be able to give advice and where appropriate seek additional information
- Knowledge and understanding of the barriers faced by jobseekers preventing them from accessing training and employment
- Use of a car and willingness to work in venues across Coventry & Warwickshire
- Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check
- Willingness to undertake training to achieve an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in Advice and Guidance
