Join us for a morning of connection, conversation and knowledge sharing at ‘Get Social’ a brand new networking event for the Social Economy of Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond!

The event, a collaborative project between Karen Heap, Founder of Socially Shared and Mandy Bygrave, CEO of Coventry Warwickshire CDA, is open to anyone with an interest in social enterprises, community organisations, charities and the social economy.

Reasons to attend:

• You will have the opportunity to meet members of the Social Enterprise Community and find out about their business ventures and the valuable contributions they make across the region.
• The social enterprises attending may provide the products and services that you need for your business or community venture.
• You may meet other social entrepreneurs on the same or similar mission to you and you may identify opportunities to collaborate.
• Your current business venture is not fully meeting the needs of your audience and you want to explore how becoming a social enterprise may assist you in addressing this.
• You are not a social enterprise or community venture, but you would like to learn more about how you can get involved and support their cause.
• You would simply like to learn more about the local social economy community.

Learning Opportunity
At every meeting we will have a guest speaker who will share valuable insights and knowledge with those attending.

Our speaker for this event is Mandy Bygrave. Mandy has been CEO of Coventry & Warwickshire CDA for the last 8 years and is an expert on the Social Economy.

People attending this event will hear about the free and quality support available, for those starting or sustaining a social enterprise. And for those newly introduced to the social economy, Mandy will be sharing her knowledge about the types of social enterprise structures and the differences between them.

We are thrilled to have the support of The Hampton by Hilton Hotel, in Nuneaton for this event. The team are looking forward to welcoming us to their bright and modern hotel, for what is set to be an enjoyable and informative morning.
