NEW ‘Get Social Network’ Event Comes to Warwick! – 9 October 2025

Join us for a morning of connection, conversation and knowledge sharing at ‘Get Social’ a new networking event for the Social Economy of Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond!

Thursday, 9th October 2025, 10 am until 12 pm

The event, a collaborative project between Mandy Bygrave, CEO of Coventry Warwickshire CDA, and Karen Heap, Founder of Socially Shared, is open to anyone with an interest in social enterprises, community organisations, charities and the social economy.

Reasons to attend:
★ You will have the opportunity to meet members of the Social Enterprise Community and find out about their business ventures and the valuable contributions they make across the region.
★ The social enterprises attending may provide the products and services that you need for your business or community venture.
★ You may meet other social entrepreneurs on the same or similar mission to you and you may identify opportunities to collaborate.
★ Your current business venture is not fully meeting the needs of your audience and you want to explore how becoming a social enterprise may assist you in addressing this.

Learning Opportunity
At every meeting we will have a guest speaker who will share valuable insights and knowledge with those attending. Our speaker for this event is Karen Heap, a Business
Adviser for more than 20 years and Founder of Socially Shared. Karen will be sharing her ’10 Steps For Marketing Success!’, a formula that will help any business or social enterprise to get super visible, grow and better connect with their audience.

Venue
We are thrilled to have the support of The Fox at Loxley, a community owned business in Warwick, who have kindly invited us to use their venue for this event. The team at The Fox are looking forward to welcoming us to their traditional country pub, for what is set to be an enjoyable and informative morning.
