Get Social Networking Coventry – 16th April 2026

Get Social Networking, Coventry, Helping People Find You Online

Join us for a morning of connection, conversation and knowledge sharing at ‘Get Social’ a new networking event for the Social Economy of Coventry, Warwickshire and beyond!

The event, a collaborative project between Karen Heap, Founder of Socially Shared and Mandy Bygrave, CEO of Coventry Warwickshire CDA, is open to anyone with an interest in social enterprises, community organisations, charities and the social economy.

Helping People Find You Online – Sara Cresswell
This engaging and interactive session will show you how to choose relevant, intent-driven keywords that attract the right audience and make it easier for the right people to find you online.

You’ll learn why smaller, niche keywords often generate better-qualified leads than high-volume terms, and discover what your audience is actually searching for. We’ll also explore how AI is reshaping search behaviour, and what this means for your content strategy.

You’ll leave with a clearer, more confident understanding of how to better position your charity in search results so you can be found, compete effectively, and stand out.

What is the Social Economy?

The social economy is a term used to describe ventures or communities of like minded individuals, that collectively work together and towards a people based or environmental goal. These communities and ventures put ‘purpose before personal profit’ and any trading surplus is reinvested to support the cause at hand. Established in 1982, Coventry and Warwickshire Co-operative Development Agency (CWCDA) offer free, high quality and professional support to help people create and sustain all types of social enterprises. They also offer employment advice and deliver a range of other services that promote financial and economic inclusion. For more information visit cwcda.co.uk

Socially Shared Business Network, is a successful women’s network, established in 2015. The network, is well known for professional but relaxed meetings, where people come together to connect, share knowledge, do business and offer support. A team of area hosts facilitate meetings at twelve different locations across the Midlands each month.
