Warwickshire Brighter Futures – Extra Ability Jobs Programme
The Extra Ability Jobs Programme aims to help support young people with a learning difficulty into work through tailored support and removing barriers to entering work. We want to help at least 40 young people with a learning difficulty into work through supporting you to navigate your journey.
We want to help you prepare for the world of work and support your needs and any barriers that might be preventing you from moving towards work.
You will be able to access one-to-one and group sessions including:
- Interview training (online and face to face)
- Building confidence
- Support in CV writing and job applications
- Developing your skills through short training courses
Please note transport and lunch are included.
Eligibility
- You have to be:16-30 years old
- Unemployed or economically inactive (not actively searching for a job)
- Living at a Warwickshire address
- A young person with learning difficulty
