ESOL Tutor Tender Specification– June 2022

Introduction
The Coventry and Warwickshire Co-operative Development Agency (CWCDA) is the lead partner of a local partnership which is delivering the Accelerate project. These contracts have been funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund and are part of the Building Better Opportunities Programme. Accelerate aims to deliver a varied and holistic programme of support for people needing help to tackle barriers to employment across Coventry and Warwickshire.

CWCDA are looking for a tutor who could support the delivery of ESOL online and face to face in Coventry.

Background to Tender
The project has been delivering advice, guidance, confidence building, skills enhancements, barrier breaking and work experience to over 1200 unemployed or economically inactive people in Coventry and Warwickshire since July 2016, helping participants to overcome barriers and move towards and into employment.

Requirements
To deliver this project successfully we need a tutor that will deliver the contract for 7 hours a week.

The successful bidder will be required to provide pre- entry and level one ESOL online and at venues in Coventry.

The successful bidder will be required to assess participants prior to them attending courses to ensure that the course level is appropriate.

Value
The indicative budget for this tender is £6.500 VAT Inclusive
(£22 per hour)
Work related travel expenses will be paid at 45p per mile

We are looking for a tutor that will be able to begin work no later than 1st July 2022 and will run until 31st March 2023

Response
Tenders should include information about how you would deliver the ESOL training and your experience delivering similar activity in the past. Where possible please keep to one page of A4.
