We are seeking an Employment Adviser to join our team

The Role
If you are motivated to make a difference to individuals lives, join us as an Employment Adviser. We are looking for someone who is driven to help those furthest from the labour market into employment.

Full time position: 37 hours per week
Contact Duration: 1 year

Required skills and experience
• Experience providing career counselling
• Experience of working with clients that are furthest from the job market
• Knowledge of training providers and support agencies
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proactive approach to work and experience working in a pressurised environment
• To be able to give advice and where appropriate seek additional information
• Knowledge and understanding of the barriers faced by jobseekers preventing them from accessing training and employment
• Use of a car and willingness to work in venues across Coventry & Warwickshire
• Base Line Security check to include enhanced DBS check

What We Offer
• Salary £29,269 to £30,296 (dependant on experience)
• 8% pension contribution
• 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays
