SOCIAL ECONOMY DRIVE WEST MIDLANDS IS A WEEK-LONG CELEBRATION OF THE WEST MIDLAND’S VIBRANT SOCIAL ECONOMY

Starting 13 NOV 2023 there will be an incredible week of showcase events across the West Midlands incorporating Social Enterprise Day 2023 on Thursday 16 NOV 2023.

For 10 years, #SED has been focused on Birmingham & Solihull… this year it’s looking a little different thanks to a collaboration between West Midlands Combined Authority, Power to Change and iSE CIC.

#SED2023 is going BIG with 7 local authority localities bringing their social economy might to a packed programme of Meet the Buyer, workshops, networking, and exchange meet ups, all focused on bringing together stakeholders and social enterprises, commissioners and entrepreneurs who are passionate about ‘growing the regional social economy’.

What is Social Economy Drive?
It’s an annual week-long programme of events focused on the social enterprise sector and social economy growth that brings together stakeholders and social enterprises, commissioners and entrepreneurs.

It’s about creating a fairer society for our residents, communities and businesses by creating economic opportunities that engage, enable and empower real change in our region.
